Phillip Wedel

Phillip’s love of working with his hands and forming relationships started at a young age. He learned to build and create alongside his family in Southwest Kansas. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Phillip graduated from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas with an MBA, where he also met his wife. Working in the oil and gas industry allowed the Wedel’s to travel the world. Texas always held a special place in their hearts, which led them to plant roots here in Houston and found Typhoon Construction

Phillip’s ability to listen, connect, and execute has earned the trust of all who have worked with him. In his free time, Phillip enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.

He loves to travel, grill, and bike. Phillip enjoys forming new bonds with clients, and can’t wait to add you to the list!

We Love What We Do!

We are established for our Clients

Typhoon Construction is a full-service residential and commercial remodeling company serving the Southwest Houston area. Our services range from small improvements, complete remodels, and custom home builds.

We also service the home exteriors including siding, gutters, roofing, and custom outdoor living spaces. This family of five values functionality and style.

FAQs

We provide all clients the security of being backed with one million dollars of General Liability insurance for every project. Upon request, a certificate can be sent to you by our insurer.

It is a great idea to have some contingency funds ready for a remodeling project. These funds can be used for unforeseen repairs and are often spent on upgraded materials and fixtures.

A good rule in the industry on projects under fifty thousand to account for a fifteen percent contingency. On projects, more than fifty thousand, a ten percent contingency should be just fine!

It all depends upon project size, type, and job. After estimating, we provide you with detailed information about cost, scheduling, and we estimate a time frame that we will need.

We have the expertise in updating bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, outdoor spaces, flooring, concrete work, painting, and roofing.

Absolutely! Not only do we specialize in every aspect of interior remodeling, but we also thrive on exteriors. Our experience in exterior projects enables us to be our client’s one-stop for all things remodeling.

Just had my detached garage finished by Typhoon Construction and exceeded my expectations! We used spray foam insulation in the walls and attic...insulated the garage, added mold resistant sheetrock, added a new electrical panel, two-ton AC/Heat, painted and trimmed everything out. Looks like a showroom...
